A book that I read was Bud not Buddy. The main character is Bud. Bud in the beginning was at a foster home. After he got a pencil up his nose he except the foster home. Bud left, to find his grandfather. Sadly for Bud his grandfather lives all the way across Michigan. When Bud misses a train to his grandfather town he is has to find different ways to get there.
I think that it is Bud vs Society. Bud finds people along the way. Bud finds a man. When Bud find a man the man gives Bud food and new clothes. The man helps Bud get to his grandfathers house. The man drives Bud to the house.
I think it would end up different if Bud didn't leave the foster home he wouldn't have find his grandfather. Another would be that Bud had gotten on the train. The train would have made it a lot easier to get to his grandfather. Finally there is another if Bud didn't meet the man Bud would of had to walk all the way.
